Celebrate · Recognize · Inspire

Canada is an Arts Nation, and for 20 years the Governor General's Performing Arts Awards has been celebrating, recognizing and inspiring the performing arts community across the country.

Founded in 1992, the Awards are Canada's most prestigious honour in the performing arts — the ultimate recognition of Canada's best artists and volunteers whose accomplishments have inspired and enriched the cultural life of our country.
