Arts Nation News
We continue to enthusiastically promote the Arts Nation message, and have recently added a number of new members, including
Canada Dance Festival,
ArtsVista from Vancouver, and Ottawa’s
Cracking Up the Capital (Alterna Savings Crackup).
Out and about in the community. Here, @ARTS_NATION visited the Canada 150 announcement.
We’re also out and about in the community, posting to social media from arts festivals, public pianos, live music, and arts conferences. Our next stops will be
Folk Music Ontario’s annual conference in Ottawa and
SPARC (Supporting Performing Arts in Rural Communities)’s Symposium in Haliburton.
Our team is continuing to develop infographics for sharing on social media (we’ve added Arts Nation Quotations to the mix), and our online presence is growing. @ArtsNation and @nationenart have increased their Twitter presence significantly. Likewise our presence on Facebook is more active. If you have arts-related stories to share, please pass them along to us at
sandyirvin@ggpaa.ca.
